1. Who we are
ViewFyre ("ViewFyre," "we," "us," "our") is an AI consulting and engineering company based in Los Gatos, California. This policy explains what personal information we collect through viewfyre.com (the "Site"), why we collect it, who we share it with, and what choices you have.

2. Information we collect
Information you give us directly. When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, the type of work you're inquiring about, your message, and, if you choose to provide it, your company name. When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address.
We do not ask for, and you should not send us through this Site, sensitive personal information: government identifiers, financial account details, health information, or credentials of any kind.
Information collected automatically. We use privacy-focused analytics that record aggregate information about visits to the Site: pages viewed, referring site, approximate country, device type, and browser. This analytics service does not use cookies, does not fingerprint your device, and does not build a profile of you across sites or sessions. We cannot use it to identify you.
Anti-spam. Our contact form uses a bot-detection service to distinguish real people from automated submissions. It processes limited technical signals about the request. It does not identify you personally and does not track you across websites.
Cookies. The Site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Any cookies present are strictly necessary for the Site to function.
3. How we use your information
We use the information you give us to:
- Respond to your inquiry and communicate with you about a potential engagement
- Send you our newsletter, if you subscribed to it
- Maintain records of business inquiries
- Protect the Site against spam, abuse, and security threats
- Understand, in aggregate, how the Site is used, so we can improve it
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We do not use it to train machine learning models.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers who process it on our behalf, under contract, and only to provide services to us:

If ViewFyre is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
5. How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as it serves the purpose it was collected for:

Why we keep unsubscribe records permanently. When you unsubscribe, we keep a minimal record of your email address on a suppression list. This is not so we can contact you. It is the only reliable way to make sure we never contact you again. Deleting it entirely would risk you being re-added from a future list. This record is used for no other purpose.
If you ask us to delete your information, we will do so except where we are required to keep it by law, or where it relates to an active or completed engagement covered by the periods above.
6. Your choices and rights
Everyone. You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email contact@viewfyre.com and we will respond within a reasonable period. We may need to verify your identity first.
Newsletter. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email us and we will remove you.
California residents. California law gives you the right to request the categories of personal information we have collected about you, the purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it, and to request its deletion. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
"Do Not Track." Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no industry-standard response to that signal. Because we do not track visitors across third-party websites, our practices do not change based on it.
If you are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom. We do not target our services to individuals in the EEA or UK. If you contact us from there, we process your information on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries, or your consent where you subscribed to our newsletter. You may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect personal information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access controls on the systems that hold inquiries. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
The Site is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Links to other sites
The Site may link to sites we do not operate, including those of our products. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and this policy does not apply to them.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. If we make material changes to how we handle personal information, we will post a prominent notice on the Site before the change takes effect.
